Don’t Fall For Music Industry Scams!
A school girl from Lymington has won the under 18's category of a national talent competition. Birdy beat 22 other competitors in the final held in Portsmouth - she popped into Sally Taylor's show to play her winning self-penned song. Having battled through previous competitive auditions and a tough regional final, Birdy grabbed the under 18's title in the live final on 29 November, playing keyboards and singing a very moving song that she wrote herself, So Be Free. The finals were held at Portsmouth's Guildhall with Birdy facing fierce competition from her older rivals: "It was amazing, they were all older than me, and they were so good that I didn't think that I was going to win," she told Sally Taylor. Birdy is one of five children and lives near Lymington.

Even though the music industry is full of sharks, you will be offered legitimate opportunities as well, so try to avoid ruining a great opportunity due to an overly defensive attitude. Remember, save the hard-ass business tactics for when a contract is actually on the table or money is changing hands. Here we go…. Consultants are abundant in many industries.
