Harlequin (Faux) Stained Glass Window
People are like stained glass windows....
Beauty comes from within, and it must be lit from within as well. Let your light shine. What does that mean? This is truly a beautiful quote, and it was spread across two tweets, and the full text of the tweets is as follows:. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within. Think about that for a moment. People sparkle and shine when things are going well for them.

I love stained glass windows. I have visited great cathedrals, regular churches, and tiny chapels, all to see the beauty of their stained glass windows. I have seen windows made by Louis Comfort Tiffany and by artists whose names are unknown. I once visited a great cathedral on a cloudy day. While the stained glass window was beautiful, it did not display its true beauty. The promise of beauty was there, but without the sunlight shining through it, the window fell short of the glory it displays when the afternoon sun shines through. Stain glass windows were used by the early church to tell the great stories of the Bible.
