Please, Mr. Panda by Steve Antony

What is the proper way to ask Mr. Panda for doughnuts?

Patiently and politely, Mr. Panda asks the animals he comes across if they would like a doughnut. A penguin, a skunk, and a whale all say yes, but they do not remember to say please and thank you. Is anyone worthy of Mr. Pandas doughnuts?

Steve Antony has captured a cute panda, delightful animals hungry for doughnuts, and a manners lesson. With the black-and-white animals, plain backgrounds, and brightly colored doughnuts, Antonys art is bold, striking, and engaging.

Never Say No To Panda

From what I can see, the advertisement is based on fear appeal, i. By presenting brand information in the following way company achieves several things: attention, interest and increased processing of information. It does not per se mean that people will have a positive attitude toward the brand. Still, there are different types of consumers so, like in recent US presidential elections, different campaigns are needed to reach different target groups. Also there is a problem of clutter, so maybe a different and unexpected campaign will stand out from the crowd. In the end, only real live products sales will be indicative of campaign success.

This compilation of commercials shows what I personally believe is a genius and hilarious ad that reaches out to its customers in a humorous, yet threatening way. The son suggests they buy Panda cheese, but the father says their shopping cart is full. The panda appears and stares at the father before tipping over the shopping cart and stomping on the spilled merchandise. On the second commercial where the father and son return to the store, the father is intimidated by the panda enough to buy two packages of Panda cheese before everyone walks away peacefully.
