The Love Generation was an American pop rock band from the s. The band was together from to The group was active from to The Love Generation was a studio band and did not tour, leading to the group's disbandment. John and Tom made a third record, "Montage", using the name The Love Generation on the record sleeve John and Tom are pictured in the foreground while the rest of the band is seen disappearing in the background.

The Love Generation were mainly studio vocalists who worked on several television shows in the '60s and are best remembered for providing all the vocals for the Partridge Family except those of David Cassidy and Shirley Jones. During their short existence from through they completed three full-length albums on Imperial: The Love Generation, A Generation of Love , and Montage. Rev-Ola assembled the best tracks from those long out of print LPs, including the minor hit "Groovy Summertime," the rare non-album track "Catching Up on Fun," and the original version of "Let the Good Times In," which was featured on the pilot episode of The Partridge Family. There are no surprises here and this is pretty much what you would expect: crisp, light harmonizing with fat production and a Madison Avenue take on "far-out groovy" lyrics.
